Greetings! Welcome to my home page. My name is Leslie Wilson. I am married and have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. My husband and I both teach school and do a little farming on the side. In our spare time we enjoy horseback riding.

This is my 11th year to teach. I have taught all eleven years in the DeLeon school district. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University with a teaching certification in business and biology. I later acquired a certification in Special Education. I am currently teaching 7th grade science, 6th grade study skills, and high school science TAKS prep.

I am very passionate about teaching science. Science is a broad subject that explains the natural world. Since today's students are tomorrow's leaders, I feel it is important that they acquire knowledge in the field of science in order to better understand and respect the natural world around them.

I believe in using a combination of teaching styles in my classroom to appeal to all students. My goal in Life Science is to have a lab or hands-on activity for each unit we study.
