Hi! My name is Roxanna Thiebaud and I teach 5th grade Language Arts and Reading at Perkins Middle School, and I will also be teaching 1 section of a 7th grade elective.This is my twelfth year to teach, and it is my seventh year to teach in DeLeon. I live in Dublin and work in DeLeon, where I grew up, and attended all 12 years of school. I am so very excited to "be home" to teach. I am fortunate to be part of such a wonderful school district. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tarleton State University in 1999. In January of 2010, I began working on my Master's degree at Tarleton. My master's will be in Curriculum and Instruction and my goal is to become a Reading Specialist.I am married (for 29 years) to Monte, who is President of Dublin National Bank, and we have two children. Jonathan is 27 years old and a graduate of Tarleton State University. He is married to KayCee. They gave birth on March 3, 2007 to our precious little grandson, Dyllan Bryan Thiebaud. He is the light of my life. Jonathan is a 4th year teacher/coach for San Saba ISD where he teaches 7th grade Math. KayCee is also be employed by San Saba ISD. Alyson is 24, and she is married to Clint Brown, and he is employed by Erath County Metal. Alyson attends Tarleton State University where she is pursuing a degree in nursing. She will be an RN in December. My goal for the year is to provide each child in my class the best education possible. My hope is for every child to be excited about their learning experience. I am very excited about the upcoming school year.
